Lessons

Private Lessons are available in 30 minute timeslots every week, beginning with the first Introductory lesson which is an hour long to introduce the instrument and get to know one another and your personal playing goals.

Particularily for beginners or anyone re-familiarising themselves with the instrument, or transitioning from classical violin, you may be interested in starting with a multi-week course that I have designed specifically for anyone new to the fiddle. These contains an emphasis on items like introductory techniques, proper fiddle form, using the bow, all learned alongside traditional Celtic Fiddle tunes.

Outside of the offers below, regular scheduled lessons which last half an hour each week are available for everyone 8 and up, at $30 a session.

Introductory Lesson

Our first lesson together contains a lot of discussion, demonstration, and practicing various form, techniques, and introductory concepts you'll need to know. The full hour allows us to go over everything you'll need to know to begin playing.

This course teaches several traditional Celtic tunes with new techniques added and built upon each week. It is perfect for someone wanting to test the waters of the instrument
